Longines Evidenza reduces the number of complications, keeping only some calendar features and the chronograph. The point of Longines Evidenza is to boast the elegantly classic tonneau shape, derived from Art Deco and the roaring twenties, when the brand was massively producing for the American market.
The watches retain some important characteristics introduced by Master Collection: eclecticism in dial design (use of color, various numerals), and the use of purely mechanical automatic movements.
Design
It's rare when a particular case design works notably better with either bracelets or straps. Longines Evidenza is such a collection: the carved case, in my view, doesn't interact very well with the straps, literally leaving the cases “strapped” for more metal

On the other hand, the bulk of the
tonneau case blends effectively with the stainless steel bracelets,
producing a convincing interplay of strength and aesthetic agility.
Particularly impressive is the diamond version, where parallel lines
of diamonds cover the entire body of the watch.
Longines Evidenza watches take the same open approach to dial design we witnessed in Master Collection. White or black dials, Roman or Arabic (though much stricter) numerals, and blued, leaf shaped steel hands. Especially interesting are the crowns: featuring a blue band, and a generally early 20th century look, they reverberate visually with the hands.

Complications
Longines Evidenza offer chronograph, calendar, day-date, and moon phase indicator complications, this time with only subdials doing the display work – no retrograde calibers.
The chronograph main seconds hand takes the central position,
relegating regular seconds to a small dial at six or three o'clock.
Twelve hour and thirty minute counters subdials occupy remaining
quarter hour positions. The purely mechanical automatic movements
provide over forty hours of power reserve.
Ladies models are smaller, and usually exclude complications except a small date aperture. These watches suddenly look like they could fare pretty well between DolceVita and La Grande Classique, showing class and style on a par with these Longines Elegance collections.
