Tiffany Co Jewelry Sterling Silver Necklace Review

Sterling Silver Necklaces
Tiffany & Co. silver necklaces give justice to the variety of design this type of jewelry allows. Necklaces relate to bracelets (being their larger versions), charms and pendants, and often comprise the main piece of a set. Tiffany offer over 400 models that include silver in one way or another – most of these pieces display the unique aesthetic characteristics introduced by Elsa Peretti, Frank Gehry, and Paloma Picasso, three of the four designers who collaborated with the company. Metro, Signature, Somerset, Notes, and other collections complete the inventory.
Semi-precious stones and pearls play an important role in decorating the jewelry, and providing it with an additional layer of meaning, or decoration. Stones include onyx, jade, dolomite, turquoise, lapis lazuli (such precious gems as emeralds and diamonds usually combine with gold and platinum necklaces), and others; wood, lacquer, and enamel join them as less common materials.

Elsa Peretti
Thin link chain necklaces with accents and various drops, usually made from cultured pearls. Combine especially well with pendants, allowing the large dangling piece to dictate the overall “atmosphere.” Teardrops, stars and hearts become the most commonly used motifs, either as accents or large links.
Frank Gehry
In line with his other jewelry, Gehry's necklaces consists of angular and sharp links and beads that in particular models take a lot of volume, making them suitable ladies who prefer a projected look to the flat orthodox designs. Silver responds beneficially to Frank Gehry's exotic twists and turns; the quiet sustained sheen accords with abstract shapes, imparting a sense of harmony.
Paloma Picasso
True to her style, this designer makes asymmetry and rhythm the underlying motif of her work. Sometimes color (resin, enamel, semi-precious stones) contributes a certain stable backdrop, on which the piece itself appears to dance; hers are energetic and almost musical necklaces that confidently carve out a niche in Tiffany's jewelry oeuvre.
